Dr. Gregg Bennett

Advisory Board Member

Dr. Gregg Bennett is currently a tenured professor of Sport Management at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. He is also the Director of the Center for Sport Management Research & Education at Texas A&M, where he was recognized as an ING Professor of Excellence in 2010.

Bennett founded the nationally recognized Twelve Baseball Academy in 2007. Since then, the Academy has grown from one team to 20 in multiple age divisions. Prior to moving to Texas, Bennett played college baseball at Tennesse Tech University where he later served on the program's coaching staff. Bennett has also assisted the coaching staffs at Ole Miss and Auburn Univeristy.

Bennett obtained a Master's Degree (University of Tennessee) and a Doctoral Degree (Auburn University) in Health & Human Performance. In 2002, he founded the Sports Marketing Association while serving as an Assistant Professor of Exercise & Sport Science at the University of Florida. Since inception, he has served as President of the SMA and hosted multiple national conferences for the organization.
